Titanium Wire

Titanium wire is a filamentous material made from titanium or titanium alloy, with a diameter ranging from 0.1mm to 8.0mm. It has the characteristics of lightweight, high strength, strong corrosion resistance, and excellent biocompatibility.
Product details:

Product Category:Pure titanium wire, titanium alloy wire, welding wire, coiled wire, straight wire

Common brand:

Domestic grades: TA1, TA2, TA4, TA9, Ti Ni.

International grades: Gr1, Gr2, Gr5, Gr7.

Production process:

1. Melting: Vacuum consumable arc furnace or plasma arc melting is used to ensure uniform composition and impurity content<0.1%;

2. Pulling and Forming:

Hot drawing: temperature 700-900 ℃, used for processing large diameter titanium wire;

Cold drawing: room temperature precision drawing, suitable for ultra-fine wires, surface roughness Ra ≤ 0.2 μ m;

3. Heat treatment: Solid solution aging treatment optimizes strength and toughness;

4. Surface treatment: anodizing, sandblasting, or coating.

Performance characteristics:

Lightweight: Density of 4.51g/cm ³, significantly better than traditional metals in terms of specific strength;

Corrosion resistance: The surface forms a dense TiO ₂ oxide film, which can resist corrosive media such as seawater and strong acids;

Multifunctionality: It combines high temperature stability and low temperature toughness, suitable for extreme environmental requirements.

Application areas: aerospace, chemical and marine industries, smart wearables, energy industry.
